| Dr. Craig E. Carroll (Ph.D., The University of Texas at Austin) is Assistant Professor in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he teaches and conducts research in public relations. He was named PR News' Educator of the Year in 2008. Previously, he taught at USC Annenberg in Los Angeles. He has published in the Encyclopedia of Public Relations, International Encyclopedia of Communication, Encyclopedia of Journalism, and Corporate Reputation Review. He serves on the editorial board of Corporate Reputation Review, Journal of Public Relations Research, Public Relations Review, Management Communication Quarterly, and Corporate Communications. He is Chair of the International Communication Association's Public Relations division. At UNC, Prof. Carroll teaches Public Relations Case Studies, Advertising and Public Relations Research Methods, Corporate Reputation Research and Evaluation, and Corporate Reputation Data Visualization and Manipulation. He is the co-developer of DICTION 6.0, a computer-aided text analysis program increasingly used in public relations, finance, and accounting research. | | | |
